Florian Haufe

Florian Haufe serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Akina since November 2021, following a role as a Research Fellow and Project Lead at ETH Zürich from June 2017 to December 2021, where Florian led the ETH Spin-Off project Akina focused on gamification in digital rehabilitation and healthcare. Previous positions include Scientific Assistant at ETH Zürich, concentrating on human-robot interaction and wearable robot optimization for rehabilitation, and Student Assistant, engaging in experimental research related to pharmaceutical and life sciences. Florian's early experience includes an internship in the R&D Department at BIOTRONIK. Academic achievements encompass a Doctor of Philosophy from ETH Zürich, a Wyss Institute Visiting Graduate Student position at Harvard University, a Master of Science from ETH Zürich, and a Bachelor of Science, both in Mechanical Engineering.
