Angela Oduor Lungati is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in community engagement and technology development. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Ushahidi since August 2011, Angela leads global user support strategies and manages user documentation while fostering relationships within the technical community as a Community Developer Liaison. Angela's roles also include being a member of the Global Futures Council on Data Equity at the World Economic Forum and serving on the Board of Directors for both the Humanitarian OpenStreetMap Team and Creative Commons. As a co-founder of Akirachix, Angela has been instrumental in developing strategies for engagement and organizing key events like the Annual African Women in Technology Conference. Angela's early career includes software development and space management at *iHub Nairobi. Angela holds a Bachelor's degree in Business and Information Technology from Strathmore University, earned between 2007 and 2011.
