Sheilah Birgen

Sheilah Birgen is an accomplished professional currently serving as the Innovation-Driven Market (IDM) Director at the Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO), where the focus is on fostering digital prosperity globally. In addition to this role, Sheilah is a Guest Lecturer on Entrepreneurship at Aga Khan University Graduate School of Media and Communications, imparting knowledge on Lean Canvas methodology. Sheilah has a rich background in leadership and consultancy, having previously held significant roles such as Chief Executive Officer at The Cord, Country Lead for Innovate UK Business Connect, and Managing Director at Founder Institute Kenya. With an educational foundation that includes an MBA in Global Business and Sustainability as well as a Master of Science in Organisation Management, Sheilah actively contributes to various networks and initiatives aimed at enhancing entrepreneurship and innovation across Africa.
