Richard Summerhayes

Richard Summerhayes has a long and varied work experience. Richard started as a Frontend Developer for their own website, richardsummerhayes.com, in 2002. In 2005, they worked as a QA Engineer & Flash Developer for Digital Foundry. From 2007 to 2013, they worked for RocketWheel as the Chief Creative Technologist and Senior Frontend Developer. In 2013, they joined Lightbend, Inc. and held various roles, including Director of Web and Digital Experience, Head of Web and Digital Experience, Sr. Manager of Web Experience, and Creative Technologist & Senior FrontEnd Developer.

Richard Summerhayes completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Web Design & New Media from the Academy of Art University from 2004 to 2009. Prior to that, they completed a Foundation degree in Art & Design / Graphic Design from Kingston University from 1994 to 1996.
