Francis Gallagher

Francis Gallagher has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Francis started their career as a Customer Relationship Advisor at Serco, where they provided customer service and resolved queries for existing customers. After that, they worked as a Web Developer at Radiator Digital, focusing on creating e-commerce websites using Magento and also developing lead-gen sites.

Francis then joined Inviqa as a Software Engineer, where they worked with various systems including Magento, Drupal, Pimcore, Symfony, and Laravel. Francis also gained experience in Docker, Vagrant, and ContinuousPipe environments for development, and used Chef, Puppet, and Capistrano for server management and deployment.

Following their time at Inviqa, Francis worked at Radiator Digital again, this time as a Lead Software Engineer, overseeing development projects. Francis then joined Oh Polly as a Senior Web Developer, where they played a crucial role in improving their Magento site and implementing various enhancements.

Subsequently, Francis worked at Trespass as a Senior Magento Developer, focusing on Magento development and maintenance. Francis also worked at Rackspace Technology as a Magento/Adobe Commerce Engineer before joining Rezolve Limited as a Senior RCE Engineer and eventually becoming the RCE Team Lead.

Most recently, Francis joined Akoova as an Ecommerce Architect, specializing in ecommerce architecture and design.

Throughout their career, Francis has also engaged in freelance work as a web developer and system admin, undertaking a wide range of projects, from simple redesigns to complex CMS restructuring, primarily using Symfony, Laravel, and Magento. Francis has also dedicated their time to volunteer work for friends and their communities.

Francis Gallagher earned a BSc degree in Infection Biology from the University of Glasgow between 2007 and 2010. In addition to their formal education, Francis also obtained the certification of Adobe Certified Expert - Adobe Commerce Developer from Adobe in January 2023.
