Soegiarto Adikoesoemo, Indonesian citizen, was born in Malang in 1938. He is one of AKR Group Founder who became a President Director of the Company until 1992.
In 1977, Soegiarto Adikoesoemo established PT Aneka Kimia Raya, then changed its name to PT AKR Corporindo Tbk. In 1992, he was appointed as the President Commissioner of PT AKR Corporindo Tbk until present. Soegiarto Adikoesoemo is the President Commissioner of PT Arthakencana Rayatama (1993-present), PT Arjuna Utama Kimia (2007-present), PT Andahanesa Abadi (2004-present).

The services that its logictics business offers include storage tank and warehouse rental, packing and crating, stevedoring, petroleum and chemical transportation as well as operation of ports in Guigang, China. Its manufacturing sector comprises sorbitol and adhesive material manufacturing; the plants are located in Surabaya, Indonesia and Liuzhou, China. Through its subsidiaries, the Company owns coal mines in Barito Utara, Indonesia. Its industrial estate segment includes its investment in Java Integrated Industrial and Ports Estate (JIIPE), an integrated industial estate in Gresik, Indonesia.
