Melanie Käppeli

Melanie K. is an experienced epidemiologist currently working at the Public Health Agency of Canada since March 2023, contributing to the Knowledge Synthesis Team within the Public Health Risk Sciences Division. Prior experience includes a Research Associate role at the University of Ottawa, where Melanie contributed to COVID-19 vaccine effectiveness research, and a Practicum Student position at the Public Health Agency, focusing on synthesis of COVID-19 vaccination evidence. Melanie has previously held roles as a Data Analyst, Peer Wellness Educator, and Visitor Services Student, showcasing a diverse skill set in data analysis, public health research, and community education. Melanie holds a Master of Public Health and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Guelph.
