Dr.-Ing. Michael Rieck has extensive work experience in the field of plastics processing. Dr.-Ing. Michael started their career as a Student Research Assistant at the Institute of Plastics Processing at RWTH Aachen University in 2011. Dr.-Ing. Michael then worked as a Student Intern at STIHL Gruppe and later returned to the Institute of Plastics Processing as a Student Research Assistant. In 2014, they joined LANXESS as a Master Thesis Student and later as a Student Intern. From 2015 to 2020, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Institut für Kunststoffverarbeitung (IKV) in Industrie und Handwerk an der RWTH Aachen. Currently, they hold the position of Business Development Manager at AKRO-PLASTIC GmbH and is responsible for driving innovation within the organization.
Dr.-Ing. Michael Rieck obtained their M.Sc. degree in Maschinenbau from RWTH Aachen University. Dr.-Ing. Michael attended the university from 2008 to 2015.

AKRO-PLASTIC is a specialist for innovative and application-oriented plastic compounds. Engineering thermoplastics and masterbatches from Feddersen Group-division AKRO-PLASTIC GmbH and its branch AF-COLOR are developed and produced in Niederzissen, Germany. In 2014, bioplastics were added to the portfolio, and the BIO-FED branch was established in Cologne. Over the past 30 years, the company has enjoyed steady growth and today is a source of comprehensive expertise in the area of plastics compounding, with an annual global production capacity more than 165,000 tons. The company specializes in the processing of standard plastics and engineering plastics. Our compounds are made in state of the art processes on Feddem extruders made by our sister company. We do toll manufacturing for Engineering Plastics. AKRO-PLASTIC operates further production sites in China and in Brazil.
