Alex Spradling

Alex Spradling is an 18 year veteran at Akrometrix, responsible for managing operations, including the improvement of the operational systems, processes and procedures in support of the company’s mission. He plays a significant role in long-term planning, including all initiatives geared toward operational excellence, day-to-day management of production, all aspects of quality, inventory, and facilities.

Prior to Akrometrix, Alex worked for the Coca-Cola Company as a Supply Quality Engineer and as a Commercialization Engineer, working on projects such as the Gas-Island Vendor and the Glass Front Vendor. Alex joined Akrometrix in 2003 as a Test Engineer. In 2005 he began work as a Mechanical Design Engineer helping the company to design and improve many of its key pieces of equipment. In 2007 he began work as a Quality Engineer. He was promoted to Operations Manager in 2009 and then to Director of Operations in 2012. He was then promoted to Vice President of Operations in January of 2020. Alex holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA in Management of Technology, both from Georgia Tech. He is also a member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ).
