Erin Palmisano Myers has extensive work experience in the legal and real estate fields. Erin started their career at Friedman Properties, Ltd. in 2006 as an Assistant General Counsel, where they provided legal advice and assistance on various transactions. During their time there, they drafted and negotiated leases and lease amendments for commercial tenants. From 2012 to 2013, Erin worked as an Independent Contractor for Friedman Properties, Ltd.

In 2014, Erin joined Akron Metropolitan Housing Authority (AMHA) as the Assistant Manager of Real Estate Development. Erin was responsible for managing the development of affordable housing and providing legal counsel related to real estate and compliance. Erin also assessed available programs and AMHA's real estate portfolio for expansion and preservation opportunities.

In 2021, Erin was promoted to the position of Real Estate Manager at AMHA, where they continued their work in managing the development of affordable housing.

Currently, Erin holds the position of Director of Real Estate at AMHA. Erin is involved in managing the development of affordable housing, providing legal counsel, and assessing real estate opportunities for expansion, disposition, and preservation. Erin is also leading the Choice Neighborhoods revitalization planning and implementation process at Summit Lake.

Throughout their career, Erin Palmisano Myers has utilized their over 17 years of legal and real estate experience to contribute to expanding and preserving affordable housing in Summit County.

Erin Palmisano Myers has a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences, General Studies and Humanities from The Ohio State University, which they obtained from 1996 to 2000. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree at DePaul University College of Law, attending from 2002 to 2005.
