Jason Colón

Jason Colón has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Starting in 1997, they worked as the Managing Partner/Systems Analyst for Kirch Group Technology, where they were responsible for new business development and establishing partnerships with tech companies. From 2002 to 2007, Colón served as the Director of Information Services for Advantage Consulting Services, overseeing the IT budget and implementing a workers' compensation claims system. Jason then joined Key Bank as a Software Leader-Certified ScrumMaster until 2009, where they successfully transitioned a development team to agile methodologies. Colón later served as the Director of Marketing and Information at Advantage Consulting Services from 2009 to 2012, implementing Salesforce CRM and internal workflows. From 2012 to 2014, they held the position of Director of Information Services at PASCO, INC., providing leadership throughout the software development lifecycle. In 2014, Colón became the IT Manager at Findaway, where they provided strategic direction and managed budgets for mission-critical processes. Jason also worked as a part-time faculty member at Kent State University, teaching data science courses, from 2014 to 2022. Most recently, they worked as a Senior Consultant at EAI Technology, LTD starting in 2016. Since 2016, Colón has been the Director of Information Technology at Akron Metropolitan Housing Authority, leading and managing the IT department's operations and services.

From 1993 to 1998, Jason Colón attended The Ohio State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Spanish Language and Literature. Later, from 2001 to 2003, they attended Franklin University to acquire a Master of Business Administration degree in Business Administration and Management, General.
