Cook (Judge)

Cook has extensive experience in the legal field, currently serving as a Judge at Akron Municipal Court since November 2009, presiding over the OVI Court Program and handling misdemeanor criminal, traffic cases, and civil cases up to $15,000. Prior to this role, Cook worked as a Magistrate in Traffic Court from February 2005 to March 2009 and as a Substitute Mediator at Summit County Common Pleas Court from January 2003 to February 2005. Additionally, Cook has been the Chair of the Street Law Committee at Akron Bar Association since 2011. Educational credentials include a diploma from Firestone High School, as well as degrees from the University of Rochester and the University of Akron School of Law.
