Aimee Budnik, PhD, RD/N, LD has worked in the nutrition and dietetics field since 2000. Aimee began their career as the Chief Clinical Dietitian at Morrison in 2000. In 2001, they moved to the Food Bank For New York City as the Nutrition Manager. In 2004, they became the Director of Welfare and Social Services and Local WIC Coordinator at the City of Danbury. In 2011, they began working at Kent State University as an Adjunct Instructor and Graduate Teaching Assistant. In 2014, they were the Community Health Supervisor at Summit County Public Health. Since 2016, they have been the Vice President of Operations and Pathways HUB Director at Akron Summit Community Action, Inc.
Aimee Budnik, PhD, RD/N, LD completed their Bachelor of Science in Nutrition Sciences at the University of Connecticut from 1992 to 1996. Aimee then obtained their Master of Science in Public Health Nutrition from Case Western Reserve University between 1996 and 1998. Aimee returned to Kent State University for their Doctor of Philosophy in Prevention Science, which they completed between 2008 and 2018.
