Akron Urban League
Dreama Whitfield, M.Ed, PC, currently serves as the Scholar Academy Program Curriculum Designer and Facilitator at Akron Urban League, where a culturally relevant curriculum for high school youth across Summit County is developed and facilitated. With over a decade of experience within Akron Public Schools, Dreama holds the roles of Scholar Voice Project Lead and previously worked as a School Counselor. Additionally, Dreama is the Founder of DM Whits Curator of Good Thoughts, offering professional advice in education and community event organization, and Co-Founder of DTVision, which creates Creative Goal Setting Workshop Experiences. Past experience includes working as a Professional Counselor at Minority Behavioral Health Group, where guidance and evidence-based techniques were provided to promote personal growth and well-being. Dreama's educational background includes a Master's degree in Counselor Education from The University of Akron.
