Aksarben Foundation

Aksarben is a unified network of business and community leaders committed to preserving and expanding prosperity in our heartland communities through advancements in education, workforce development and civic projects born from effective private, public and philanthropic partnerships. Taking a look at Nebraska's workforce challenges by industry and by region, Aksarben has already launched the Nebraska Tech Collaborative and Northeast Nebraska Growing Together. The Nebraska Tech Collaborative (NTC), it's committees and business partners are taking a look at how technology is used and how it is innovating across the state with the goal of expanding educational opportunities for PK-12, upskilling an existing workforce, and attracting talent from other parts of the country. Growing Together is a workforce initiative focused on Northeast Nebraska. Aksarben is working with local leaders on downtown revitalization and co-op scholarships, connecting students with business opportunities in their senior year. Through agglomeration, Northeast Nebraska will grow and thrive with a robust community of young Nebraskans living and working in Norfolk. Groundwork and infrastructure for additional workforce initiatives is being created now. Follow Aksarben on social for up to date information.
