Pete Rubio

Pete leads the Platform Practice at Rapid7, driving new avenues of growth for the Insight platform. Pete offers a passion for developing people and technology alongside a track record of running high trust, high energy teams that are driven by empowering customer success. He possesses more than 20 years of leadership in software development spanning product development, design, product management, operations and security.

Prior to joining Rapid7, Pete most recently served as the Vice President of Cloud Platform Development at IBM, leading the global team responsible for developing and operating the services at the core of the IBM Cloud. Across his prior executive leadership roles, Pete has driven innovation and growth to provide deep integration, seamless user experience, scale and resiliency. Pete holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Florida.
