Vang Hoang My's work experience begins in 2010 as the Leader of RC Models Club. From 2012 to 2013, they served as the Lab Manager at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology. They then worked as a Member at Smart Microsystem Research LAB from 2013 to 2015. In 2015, Vang joined Akselos as an Application Engineer, contributing to the development of engineering simulation technology. They later transitioned to a Field Engineering Specialist role in January 2021. Alongside their professional roles, Vang served as an Enlisted Man in the Vietnam Border Guard Force from 2017 to 2019 and was part of the Department of Aeronautical Engineering at ĐH Bách Khoa Tp.HCM from 2008 to 2013.

Vang Hoang My completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Aeronautical Engineering at Ho Chi Minh city University of Technology from 2008 to 2013. Vang then pursued their Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Structural Engineering at Konkuk University from 2013 to 2015. Additionally, they obtained several certifications from edX, including certificates for courses such as "Mechanical Behavior of Materials: Time Dependent Behavior and Failure" in November 2015, "Mechanical Behavior of Materials: Stress Transformations, Beams, Columns, and Cellular Solids" in October 2015, "Mechanical Behavior of Materials: Linear Elastic Behavior" in September 2015, and "Introduction to Computer Science and Programming Using Python" in August 2015.
