Reza Basseda

Reza Basseda has a range of work experience in various roles and companies. Reza most recently worked as a Lead Software Engineer at Aktana since October 2019. Prior to that, Reza held the position of AI Scientist and Lead at Viome from May 2017 to September 2019. Reza has also worked as a Visiting Assistant Professor at New Jersey City University, Farmingdale State College, and University of Bridgeport, along with being an Adjunct Assistant Professor at Suffolk County Community College.

Reza also worked as a Research Scientist at The Center of Excellence in Wireless and Information Technology (CEWIT), and as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Stony Brook University. Additionally, they gained experience as a Software Engineering Intern at Google and as a Research Assistant Intern at CA Technologies.

Reza Basseda obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from Stony Brook University from 2009 to 2015. Prior to that, they earned a Master's Degree in Computer Software Engineering from the University of Tehran between 2004 and 2007. Reza completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Software Engineering at Iran University of Science and Technology from 1999 to 2004. Reza also attended Allameh Helli High School (NODET) from 1995 to 1999, where they studied Mathematics and Physics.
