Tobias Schürrle

Tobias Schürrle has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Tobias currently works as the Director of Solution Engineering at Aktana since November 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Solution Strategy at Tact.ai starting from July 2023. Tobias also held the position of Solutions Consultant Manager at Tact.ai from February 2022 to July 2023.

Before joining Tact.ai, Tobias worked at Veeva Systems, where they held various positions. Tobias served as the Head of Align Strategy Europe from March 2018 to February 2022 and as a Senior Solution Consultant from November 2014 to February 2018.

Their earlier experience includes working as a Key Account Manager at Cegedim Relationship Management from January 2013 to November 2014 and as a Vertriebsleiter - Sales Manager at Apotheke from February 2011 to January 2013.

Tobias also gained valuable experience in the pharmaceutical industry, working at Sanofi Pasteur MSD as a Key Account Manager from July 2007 to February 2011 and as a Sales Representative from June 2006 to June 2007. Tobias started their career at GlaxoSmithKline as a Fachreferent Spezial - Scientific Sales Representative from October 2004 to June 2006 and at AstraZeneca as a Pharmaberater - Sales Representative from July 2003 to October 2004.

Additionally, Tobias has a background in technology and sales. Tobias founded and served as the General Manager of TOBIS Computerequipment from January 1996 to December 2002, providing customized IT solutions to healthcare professionals and organizations. Tobias also worked as a PhD student at the DKFZ German Cancer Research Center, conducting scientific research on visualizing immune reactions and vaccine studies from 1999 to 2001.

Tobias Schürrle received a Diplom in Molekularbiologie, Zellbiologie from Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg im Breisgau in 2002-2003. Prior to that, they earned a Diplom in Biologie from Heidelberg University in 1999-2002. Additionally, they obtained a Certificate in Economics from UC San Diego in 1999. Tobias has also acquired multiple certifications in various fields such as Mobile Intelligence, Salesforce administration, and Veeva CRM and network administration.
