Eva-Maria Broman-Rimpi

Eva-Maria Broman-Rimpi has a strong background in compliance, risk control, and legal counsel, with experience in various prestigious companies. Eva-Maria currently holds the position of Chief Compliance Officer at Aktia since December 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Handelsbanken as a Senior Compliance Officer from October 2017 to December 2021. Eva-Maria also held prominent roles at SEB, including Head of Compliance & Risk Control from October 2012 to October 2017, Compliance Officer from May 2010 to October 2012, and Legal Counsel from September 2008 to May 2010. Before joining the financial industry, Eva-Maria served as a Deputy Judge at the District Court of Parainen from April 2007 to April 2008. Additionally, they have assumed board positions at The VTS Fund (VTS-rahasto), being a Deputy Member of the Board from February 2022 to June 2023, and currently serving as the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors starting from April 2023.

Eva-Maria Broman-Rimpi holds a Master of Science degree in Economics from Åbo Akademi University, which they completed in 2008. Prior to that, they attained a Master of Laws degree from the University of Turku in 2007. In 2000, Eva-Maria completed their International Baccalaureate at Turun normaalikoulu, IB World School.
