Olivier Grossenbacher has been working in the field of research and development since 2005. Olivier began their career at CSEM as a Senior Technician and then an Internship. In 2005 they became a Senior R&D Engineer and R&D Engineer, where they developed embedded sensor solutions for startups in vital signs monitoring, contributed to successful technology transfers to industrial partners, and participated in research projects on Optical Blood Pressure and Heart Rate monitoring. In 2018, they joined Aktiia as a Founding Member and Core Technology Lead, as well as a Founding Member and R&D Manager. In this role, they worked on a unique data solution to lead to never-before-possible insights about cardiovascular health.
Olivier Grossenbacher obtained their Master degree in Electricity from EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) between 2005 and 2009. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Information technologies from HEIG-VD between 2002 and 2005, with a focus in Telecommunications Engineering. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Internet of Things (IOT) - Smart connected technologies: lastest trends, challenges and opportunities from Formation Continue UNIL-EPFL in September 2017, ISO13485 - Medical Device Development from Medidee Services SA in March 2014, Risk management according to ISO 14971 from Medidee Services SA in March 2014, Software lifecycle ISO62304 from Medidee Services SA in February 2014, and Project Management Seminar & Workshop from Stucki Leadership-Teambuilding AG in September 2013.
