Michael McNamara

Michael McNamara is a finance professional with extensive experience in accounting and auditing. Currently serving as the Director and Assistant Controller at Aktis Oncology since October 2025, Michael has previously held key roles at ROME Therapeutics as both Controller and Assistant Controller from March 2021 to September 2025. Prior to that, significant tenure at Aileron Therapeutics included positions such as Assistant Controller, Accounting Manager, and Senior Accountant from February 2014 to February 2021. Michael's early career featured a role as Senior Auditor at Cooney Carey from February 2012 to December 2013 and as an Auditor at Deloitte between October 2009 and December 2011. Michael holds an ACCA qualification and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Galway, obtained between 2006 and 2009.
