Jorge Alarcon

Jorge Alarcon has a diverse range of work experience. Jorge is currently serving as the President and CEO of Aktiun, a company that focuses on building advanced big data applications and real-time streaming analytics. Jorge is also the co-creator of ChartFactor, a lightweight visual analytics platform.

Prior to their current role, Alarcon co-founded Zoomdata and held the position of VP of Engineering. Jorge has also worked at Clarabridge as a Director and Senior Architect, at Global Computer Enterprises as a Technical Architect, at CACI as a Software Development Principal, and at American Management Systems as a Senior Software Engineer. Jorge'swork at these companies spanned several years, showcasing their expertise in various technical roles.

Jorge Alarcon's education history began in 1986, when they enrolled at the Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil. Jorge pursued a degree in Computer Systems and completed their studies in 1992, after six years of academic dedication.
