Michelle is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist at Akua Strong. Michelle received her Bachelors in Psychology with a minor in Occupational Science from the University of Southern California, and her Masters in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. While in undergrad, Michelle worked as a behavioral therapist, where she developed a passion for children and families with neurodevelopmental disorders. Michelle has also worked in outpatient substance use treatment, where she explored other areas of interest including trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, ADHD, bipolar disorder, and couples/family counseling.
