Terry Zhou

Terry Zhou is an accomplished finance professional currently serving as the Head of Venture Debt at Akulaku Group since January 2024, focusing on venture debt, private credit, and structured finance across South East Asia, including Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines. Prior to this role, Terry Zhou held several positions at Silicon Valley Bank from August 2015 to January 2024, culminating in the role of Director in venture lending with a focus on enterprise software, semi-conductors, technology media and telecommunications (TMT), and renewable energy. Earlier career experience includes roles as an equity research associate at CICC and UOB Kay Hian, and an internship at Neuberger Berman Asset Management. Terry Zhou studied at Fudan University, earning a Bachelor's degree in World Economy, and later obtained an MBA in Investments and Securities from Boston College, complemented by an exchange program at Macquarie University.
