Romain Davau

Romain Davau is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Head of Financing and Treasury at Akuo Energy since June 2017, where Romain is also a member of the Executive Committee. Prior to this role, Romain held the position of Project Finance Director at the same company. Romain's career includes significant experience at BNP Paribas from September 2010 to June 2017 as a Director on the Mining & Metals team, focusing on projects in Africa, Russia, and the CIS. Romain also spent time at Barclays Capital from March 2005 to October 2009 as a Manager, where involvement included three years in the Mining & Metals team and five years in the ECM team. Additionally, Romain began a career in finance as an Analyst at UBS Investment Bank from January 2003 to February 2005, covering French clients in M&A, DCM, and ECM. Romain holds a Master's degree in Finance & Law from ESCP Business School and a second-year degree in Mathematics Applied to Social Sciences from Université Paris Dauphine - PSL.
