Diego José Sánchez Martín

Diego José Sánchez Martín has worked in a variety of roles since 2018. In 2018, they were an Experimental Sciences Committee Evaluator for ACPUA and an Advisory Board Member for Unibasq. In 2022, they became a Data Scientist for AKUR8, where they developed GLM models for predicting risk and severity of insurance companies' portfolios. Additionally, they were a Research Intern at Sopra Steria, where they worked on their MSc dissertation entitled "Traffic accident prediction in Great Britain with KNN, GLM and ANN models: a comparative approach".

Diego José Sánchez Martín has a diverse educational background. Diego José completed a Double BSc. in Mathematics and Physics at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid from 2016 to 2021, and at Sorbonne Université from 2019 to 2020. Diego José also attended the Universidad Francisco de Vitoria from 2016 to 2020, where they earned their Escuela de Liderazgo Universitario - Leadership School in Liberal Arts. Currently, Diego is pursuing a Master of Science - MS in Operational Research with Data Science at The University of Edinburgh from 2021 to 2022. Additionally, Diego has obtained several certifications, including Akur8 Risk Advanced from AKUR8 in December 2022, R Programming from The Johns Hopkins University in January 2022, Dynamical Modeling Methods for Systems Biology from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in October 2020, and a Certificate of Proficiency in English - Grade A from Cambridge Assessment English in June 2017.
