Henri Gérard, PhD

Henri Gérard, PhD has a wide range of work experience. Henri began their career in 2015 as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at École des Ponts ParisTech. Henri then became a Mathematics Instructor at Université Paris-Dauphine and a Teacher of Analysis at Université Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée. In 2016, they were a Visiting PhD Student at The University of Auckland and a Teacher of Mathematics for Economy at Université Paris-Dauphine. In 2018, they were a Cohort Member of Entrepreneur First, where they explored opportunities in auditing machine learning models. In 2019, they co-founded Beagle, a financial literacy platform for young professionals, and in 2020 became a Finance Mag contributor. Finally, in 2021 they joined AKUR8 as a Data Scientist and then became the Lead Data Scientist. Henri is also currently a Research Consultant in Decision Making at Square Management, where they are investigating new data models.

Henri Gérard, PhD obtained their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Mathématiques from École des Ponts ParisTech in 2018. Prior to this, they completed a Master's degree in Operation Research in partnership with Polytechnique, ENSTA, ENPC at Télécom Paris in 2015. Henri also obtained a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Financial Mathematics and Operational Research from Télécom Paris in 2014. Before this, they attended Lycée Sainte-Geneviève from 2010 to 2012, where they completed Classes préparatoires MPSI-MP*. Additionally, Gérard holds two certifications, a Certification AMF from the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) – France, which they obtained in 2020, and a Conseiller en Investissements Financiers (CIF) from ANACOFI - Association Nationale des Conseils Financiers, which they also obtained in 2020.
