Olga Martínez-Faus

Olga Martínez-Faus has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. Olga began their career as an Assistante de recherche au Département Sculpture at the Universitat de Barcelona. In 2016, they became a Guide d'expositions à La Virreina Centre de la Imatge at the Ajuntament de Barcelona. In 2018, they returned to the Universitat de Barcelona as a Boursière du Comitée Académique de Doctorat, where they were responsible for writing and formatting communication supports, assisting doctoral students, and organizing and coordinating research events. From 2019 to 2021, Olga worked as a Graphiste indépendante at AKUR8, Carrefour-Google Lab, and Ma Coiffeuse Afro. In 2021, they joined AKUR8 as a Graphic Designer.

Olga Martínez-Faus has a long and varied educational history. Olga began their studies in 2002 at the Conservatori de Grau Professional Josep M. Ruera, where they earned a Diplôme du Conservatoire de Musique in Clarinet. Olga then moved on to Universitat de Barcelona, where they earned a Licence en Beaux-Arts in Sculpture in 2013. In 2015, they completed their Docteure en Histoire de l'Art in Histoire de l'Art. In 2019, they participated in an exchange research program at the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne, in the École Doctorale d'Histoire de l'Art. Olga is currently enrolled at ESP Ecole Supérieure de Publicité, Communication et Marketing, where they are pursuing a Mastère 2 Direction Artistique & Digital Design.
