Priya Sidhu

Priya Sidhu has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Priya recently joined Akura Medical as a Senior Research and Development Engineer in February 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Avantec Vascular Corporation from 2019 to 2023, starting as an Associate Quality Engineer and progressing to roles such as Associate R&D Engineer, Research and Development Engineer II, and finally, Senior Research and Development Engineer.

In 2018, they worked at Lumileds as a Failure Analysis Technician for a year. Before that, from 2014 to 2018, they gained experience in floral design and management as a Florist and Assistant Manager at Rosies and Posies Downtown Florist. During their time there, they handled responsibilities such as ordering shipments, managing teams, delegating work, and conducting interviews.

In 2017, Priya worked as an Additive Manufacturing Research Assistant at Indizen Optical Technologies for a brief period. These experiences have equipped their with a strong blend of technical, research, and managerial skills.

From 2013 to 2018, Priya Sidhu attended San Jose State University, where they pursued a degree in Biomedical Engineering. Their field of study focused on Biomedical/Medical Engineering.
