Michele Thomas

Michele Thomas is an accomplished cybersecurity and technology leader with extensive experience in both public and private sectors. Currently serving on the Cyera Advisory Board, as a Charter Member of Women in AI Governance™, and as an Expert at GLG, Michele is also a Co-Founder of TrustedTec. Previous roles include Chief Technology Officer for the State of Maryland and Chief Information Security Officer for Science and Technology at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Michele has a strong background in IT governance, data management, and identity security, marked by contributions to several industry alliances and associations. Educational achievements include a Master's in Public Administration from American University and studies at the Federal Executive Institute and George Mason University.
