Alaa Ghannam

Alaa Ghannam is a seasoned professional in the coatings industry, currently serving as the High Performance Coatings Manager at AkzoNobel since January 2016. In this role, Alaa has successfully developed a business plan aimed at penetrating the high performance coatings market in the Levant region and has coordinated closely with local sales teams to provide technical and specification support. Prior to joining AkzoNobel, Alaa held the positions of Technical & Specs Manager and Technical & Contracting Coordinator at Jotun from April 2008 to December 2015. Alaa holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from Talal Abu-Ghazaleh University College for Innovation (TAGUCI), completed in August 2022, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from BAU, obtained in 2008.
