Faisal Umair

Faisal Umair has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Faisal started their career as an Audit Trainee at KPMG Pakistan in 2001 and then joined Maersk Pakistan Private Limited as a Management Trainee in 2003. From 2005 to 2011, Faisal worked at Maersk Treasury Center (Asia) PTE Ltd in various roles, including Treasury and Risk Analyst, Treasury & Liquidity Manager, and Assistant General Manager. In 2011, they joined Nike and held positions such as FX Forecasting & Performance Manager, Director FX Risk Management, and Director Global FX Risk Management. Faisal then joined AkzoNobel in 2019, where they served as the Chief Treasury Dealer and later became the Head of Financial Markets.

Faisal Umair has a degree in Treasury from the Association of Corporate Treasurers, which they obtained in 2007. Faisal also holds an MBA in Finance from the Institute of Business Administration - IBA, which they completed in 2003. Additionally, Faisal has a degree in Accounting from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, which they received in 2003. It is unclear when and where they pursued their initial ACCA degree as well as any further studies in the same field.
