Leandro Y. has extensive experience in financial management and auditing within the coatings and paints industry, currently serving as the Regional Financial Controller for Performance Coatings South America at AkzoNobel since March 2013. In this role, Leandro leads the Regional Performance Coatings Controllers and acts as a Business Partner, significantly contributing to business turnaround and restructuring efforts. Previous positions at AkzoNobel include Regional Controller for Powder Coatings South America and Financial Planning and Reporting Coordinator for Latin America. Leandro began a career in auditing as an Internal Auditor and later as a Senior Operations Auditor with international experience from a relocation to Chicago. Educational qualifications include a Lato Sensu degree in Controlling from FIA and a Business Management degree from FAAP.
