Pim Koeckhoven

Pim Koeckhoven has over 27 years of experience at AkzoNobel, currently serving as Director Surface Innovation & Analytics. Previous roles include Director Color Technology, Business Area Research Manager for Color, and Global Color Manager R&D for Car Refinishes & Aerospace. Koeckhoven has also managed the Digital Development Center, focusing on developing IT solutions and complex algorithms for industrial coatings. Earlier experience includes a position as Group Leader at the Technology Center and researcher in coatings. Prior to AkzoNobel, Koeckhoven was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Groningen. Academically, Koeckhoven holds a PhD in Physical Chemistry from the University of Amsterdam and a Master's in Science from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam.
