Merjam Shousha

Merjam Shousha is a dedicated educator and project coordinator with extensive experience in language instruction and academic support. Currently a Docent Arabisch at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam since June 2019 and holding a Project Coordinator position at Al Amana College since August 2024, Merjam has previously served as a High School Teacher and Research Interviewer at Sociaal en Cultureel Planbureau and Labyrinth research, respectively. Additionally, Merjam taught English, Arabic, and Dutch at various educational institutions including Meester in NT2 taalschool and Ormiston Forge Academy. Merjam's academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Middle Eastern Studies from Leiden University, alongside diplomas in Therapeutic Counselling Theory and Health and Social Care from the University of Worcester and Ormiston Forge Academy, respectively.
