Al Etihad is one of the largest and fastest growing gold & silver refineries in this region. Established in 2009, the company can trace its origins from the traditional gold souks formed by Bahrain's Khalaf family in the late 1940s. 

Equipped with a team of highly committed experts and state of art refining, smelting, assaying, diamond removal and minting equipment, Al Etihad has established itself as a major player in both the production and service sectors of the industry. 

In customer centricity, management, procedures, and due diligence systems Al Etihad follows the most rigorous of international quality standards. In 2012, Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), a Government of Dubai authority, honoured Al Etihad with the prestigious DGD accreditation for Gold and Silver. The refinery is also accredited by ISO 9001:2008 for Quality Management System, ISO 14001:2004 for Environmental Management System and OHSAS 18001:2007 for Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems. Al Etihad Gold Refinery is also a member of the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) and the Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group (DGJG).
