Iftikhar A.

Iftikhar A. has a diverse and extensive work experience. Starting in 2000, they worked as a Senior Audit Associate at EY until 2004. Following that, they held the position of Management Accountant at Turner Construction Company from 2004 to 2006. From 2007 to 2009, they served as an Assistant Manager Corporate Finance at ADEAREST. In 2009, they joined the Al Ghurair Group as a Senior Financial Analyst. Iftikhar then moved on to become the Sr Financial Controller at Al Ghurair Foods LLC from 2011 to 2013. In 2013, Iftikhar A. became the Director of Finance and Operations at GoodyCo. Iftikhar held this position until 2016, when they joined InnoKAT as the Chief Financial Officer and Acting CEO. In 2019, they co-founded SolarShine and became a Board Member. Throughout the same year, they also assumed the role of CFO at the Al Ghurair Group's subsidiary, Fanan Investment (PE).

Iftikhar A. obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business/Commerce from the University of Sindh in 1998, followed by a Master's Degree in Economics from the same university in 2001. In 2002, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a specialization in Accounting and Finance from Karachi University, which they completed in 2004. From 2000 to 2003, Iftikhar A. pursued the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) qualification. In 2011, they enrolled in the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Pakistan (ICPAP) and obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation in 2013. Finally, in 2014-2015, they attended INSEAD to enhance their skills in Business Administration and Management through the Strategic Decision Making for Leaders program.
