Barry O'Fiacháin has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Barry started their career at A&L Goodbody LLP, where they worked as a Banking Paralegal from December 2016 to April 2017. Barry then transitioned into a Trainee Solicitor role from April 2017 to December 2019, followed by a promotion to Corporate Solicitor from December 2019 to March 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Corporate Associate at A&L Goodbody LLP starting from March 2023.
Barry has also gained valuable experience through various secondment opportunities. Barry was a Legal Secondee at Aviva in November 2016 and Airbnb in March 2019. In 2020, they worked as a Legal Secondee - Privacy Counsel at ICON plc from February to October.
Additionally, Barry has worked as a Legal Intern at A&L Goodbody in July 2015, enhancing their knowledge in the legal field. Barry O'Fiacháin's education history begins in 2000 when they completed the Irish Leaving Certificate at St. Mary's College C.S.Sp. Barry then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Civil Law (BCL) degree in Law with Politics at University College Dublin from 2011 to 2015. Following that, they attended The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) from 2015 to 2016, where they obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree specializing in Corporate and Commercial Law. From 2017 to 2019, Barry enrolled in the Law Society of Ireland, where they completed the Professional Practice Courses I & II, focusing on Law. In 2019, they pursued a Diploma in Corporate Finance at Chartered Accountants Ireland, which they completed in 2020. Currently, Barry is undergoing studies for a Certificate in Technology Law at the Law Society of Ireland, starting in 2020.
