Shauna Downey

Shauna Downey has a diverse range of work experience in event management and sales. Shauna is currently working as a Senior Events Executive at A&L Goodbody LLP since January 2023. Prior to that, they served as a Senior Events Manager at iQuest & Business Post LIVE from May 2021 to December 2022, and as an Events Manager from May 2019 to May 2021. Shauna also worked at the Restaurants Association of Ireland, where they held the positions of Events & Campaigns Executive from January 2018 to May 2019, and Events & Campaigns Assistant from March 2017 to January 2018. Additionally, they worked as a Sponsorship Coordinator at Event Strategies from October 2016 to March 2017, as a Sales & Event Assistant at Lawrence Beach Club from May 2016 to September 2016, and as a Sales Assistant at H&M from August 2012 to May 2016. During their time at Hotel Arts, Shauna worked as a Conference Concierge from January 2015 to July 2015, where they handled various responsibilities such as collaborating with hotel departments, resolving issues, and ensuring meeting planner expectations were met. Shauna began their career at The Curragh Racecourse as a Stiles Operator from May 2008 to August 2012.

Shauna Downey completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Event Management at Technological University Dublin from 2012 to 2016. In 2020, they pursued a Diploma in Human Resource Management at IBAT College Dublin. Additionally, in the same year, Shauna obtained a Digital Marketing Diploma from New Skils Academey.
