Omar A Khalaf

Omar A Khalaf has extensive work experience in the hospitality industry, primarily with the company Habtoor Hospitality LLC. Omar held the position of Chief Financial Officer at various divisions within the company, including Dubai Hotels, Habtoor Grand Resort, Metropolitan Hotel Dubai, and others. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing the financial operations of these establishments as well as managing and administering centralized services of the Hospitality Division in the UAE. Prior to this, Omar worked as an Internal Auditor at Habtoor Hospitality LLC from 2001 to 2006 and as a Financial Controller at Habtoor Hospitality LLC - HGBRS from 2000 to 2001. Omar also served as an Assistant Financial Controller and Internal Auditor at Metropolitan Palace Hotel from 1997 to 1999 and as a Senior Income Auditor & Finance at Chicago Beach Hotel (currently Jumeirah Beach Hotel) from 1980 to 1997.

Omar A Khalaf attended Beirut Business College from 1977 to 1979, where they pursued a degree in Finance & Audit. Omar also studied Business Administration with a specialization in Small Business Administration/Management during the same period at the same college, completing their degree in 1980.
