Muhammad Zain Hussain has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the field of information technology and electrical supervision. Muhammad started their career as an Electrical Supervisor at Lahore Electric Supply Company Limited in 2011 and then worked as an Assistant Manager at BP from 2012 to 2014. In 2013, Zain joined Snax-24 Friends Forecourt Ltd as a Network Engineer, where they managed and maintained the EPOS system and designed functional networks.
In 2014, they pursued further professional development by joining Leicester Commercial College in the UK, where they served as a Network Administrator. In this role, they designed a highly available and secure network for the campus and established a team to set up EPOS systems and networks in two locations.
Zain's career in the education sector began in 2016, when they joined Al Maaref School as a Data Network Manager, responsible for network infrastructure and data management. Muhammad later transitioned to Alzuhour Private School in 2018, where they served as the IT Head.
Currently, Zain works at Al Maaref Private School as the Director of Information Technology, a position they have held since September 2021. In this role, they oversee the school's IT operations and ensures the efficient functioning of the technology infrastructure.
Muhammad Zain Hussain holds a Master's Degree in Telecommunications/IT Engineering from the University of Sunderland, which they obtained from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Management and Technology - UMT, from 2008 to 2012. Muhammad has also attended Government College University, Lahore from 2005 to 2007 for high school, specializing in Pre-Engineering. Their earliest education is from Divisional Public School, where they completed their Matric degree in Physical Sciences from 2002 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, Muhammad Zain Hussain has obtained several certifications, including Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) from ISACA in 2023, STA International Emergency First Aid at Work including CPR and AED from Eurolink Safety in 2022, Foundations of IT Security: Core Concepts and Foundations of Networking: Networking Basics from Lynda.com in 2016, and Level 1 Fire Safety from Eurolink Safety in 2022. Muhammad also holds the Accredited Technical Professional - Storage Solutions V2 certification from Huawei Technologies.
