Tarek Soubra

Tarek Soubra is an accomplished technology executive with over 23 years of experience in operations and information technology across various financial institutions, including conventional and Islamic banking as well as insurance sectors. Currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer at Al Maryah Community Bank since December 2020, Tarek is responsible for managing the digital bank launch and overseeing the design and implementation of critical banking applications and infrastructure. Previously, Tarek held roles such as Chief Executive Officer at Prime CTS, Head of Strategic Planning at Al Masraf, and Group Chief Information Officer at Finance House P.J.S.C. Tarek's extensive background includes significant contributions to core banking systems, digital transformation strategies, and IT infrastructure development, paired with a solid educational foundation in Computer Science from Lebanese American University.
