Hamad Alwashmi

Hamad Alwashmi, MBA has over 20 years of work experience in various roles and industries. Hamad'smost recent position was as Chief Compliance Officer at Al Rajhi Bank, starting in February 2023. Prior to that, they worked at HSBC Saudi Arabia as Chief Risk Officer, overseeing risk management and compliance from January 2021 to February 2023. Hamad also held the role of Head of Compliance at HSBC Saudi Arabia from June 2018 to January 2021. Before joining HSBC, Hamad worked at SABB in multiple roles, including Head of Customer Experience, Head of Retail Banking and Wealth Management Compliance, Senior Manager of Business Performance & Planning, Manager of MIS & Data Analysis, and Cost Accounting Manager. Hamad also had an international assignment at HSBC in 2016 and worked at ANB as a Relationship Manager and Credit Analyst. Hamad started their career at Jarir Bookstore as a Showroom Manager.

Hamad Alwashmi, MBA holds a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from King Saud University, which they earned from 1996 to 2000. In addition, they pursued an MBA from the University of San Diego, specializing in Finance, Marketing, and New Venture Management, from 2007 to 2009.
