Wasim Junaidi

Wasim Junaidi, CMT has a diverse work experience in the finance industry. Wasim is currently the Head of Capital Markets at Al Ramz PJSC, a position they started in September 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Dubai Islamic Bank as a Listed Equity Portfolio Manager from March 2011 to August 2018. In this role, they managed and operated the bank's proprietary listed equities portfolio, and also found and managed the DIB Capital/ DIB Proprietary Trading Program. From March 2010 to March 2011, Wasim was a Partner and Director at iConsult LLC. Before that, they worked at Manazel Real Estate PJSC as a Listed Equity Portfolio Manager from August 2006 to March 2010. Here, they managed and operated the company's MENA proprietary listed equities Portfolio, and executed strategic investments in IPOs. Wasim'searliest role was as a Credit Analyst at the National Bank of Abu Dhabi from August 2004 to August 2006, where they analyzed credit facility cases and assessed credit risk for corporate clients.

Wasim Junaidi, CMT obtained their Chartered Market Technician (CMT) degree from the Chartered Market Technicians Association between 2015 and 2017. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Bachelor of Commerce with a Finance Major from Concordia University. Wasim also obtained a Certificate of Management in Finance Major from Concordia University. In 2019, Wasim Junaidi obtained the International Certificate in Wealth & Investment Management from the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
