Abbas Talaq

Abbas Talaq is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in database and storage management. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at Al Salam Bank since July 2015, Abbas handles roles including Database Administrator for Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL, as well as Storage and Backup Administrator. Previous roles include Manager and Assistant Manager at BMI Bank from September 2009 to June 2015, where responsibilities encompassed installing and maintaining Oracle RAC servers and various database systems. Abbas began the career as a Software and Hardware Technician at Novell Computer Systems and Computer Bazar, subsequently advancing to Database Administrator positions at Arab Insurance Group. Abbas holds a BSc (Hons) in Computing from the University of Greenwich and multiple diplomas in Business Information Technology and Computer Studies from Bahrain Training Institute.
