Fouad El Ouzani

Fouad El Ouzani currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Head of Credit Risk at Al Salam Bank-Bahrain, a position held since October 2020. Prior to this, El Ouzani was the Assistant General Manager and Head of Credit Risk and Administration at Al Baraka Islamic Bank B.S.C. from December 2007 to October 2020, overseeing credit processes across various banking activities in multiple countries. Earlier experience includes roles as Vice President at Gulf International Bank, Manager at The Arab Investment Company, and Assistant Manager at Arab Banking Corporation, where responsibilities spanned asset trading, trade finance, and credit analysis. El Ouzani holds a Master’s degree in Finance from DePaul Driehaus College of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Bahrain.
