Tom Patt

Tom Patt is a highly experienced orthopedic surgeon specializing in knee injuries and sports-related conditions. Currently serving as the chair of the board of ESMA and a member of the council of ESSKA since May 2024, Tom also operates as a sports knee specialist at Bergman Clinics B.V. and is a founding member of the Guardians of the ACL, which advocates for the prevention of knee lesions in children and adolescents. As a partner and founder of join[t]forces, Tom leads an ACL prevention program for young athletes. In addition to consulting at Al Salam International Hospital in Kuwait, Tom has held various prominent roles, including vice chair of ESMA/ESSKA and orthopedic surgeon positions at multiple institutions. Tom received a Doctor of Medicine degree from Ulm University and completed the Abitur at Schlossgymnasium Benrath.
