Michael Padilla-Pagan Payano is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in leadership and risk mitigation across various sectors. As CEO and Chairman of Al Thuraya Holdings since November 2015, Michael has overseen the expansion of the organization into a global network of 11 companies, emphasizing adaptability in challenging environments. Previously, as Chairman and CEO of Al Thuraya Consultancy, Michael grew the firm into an international risk mitigation company serving multinational entities. Michael's military background includes serving as a Colonel in the US Army, with significant experience in Special Operations Forces, and a tenure as a Major in the United States Air Force. Michael holds an MS in Electrical Engineering/Information Systems from The George Washington University and an MBA in Information Systems Technology Management from The George Washington University School of Business, complemented by a BS in Computer Science from the University of Athen Greece.
