Doug Rogers has extensive experience in communications and technology within the Baptist community, currently serving as the Director of Communications & Technology at the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions since March 1999. Prior to this role, Doug held positions such as AV Manager at the South Carolina Baptist Convention from May 1993 to March 1999, Minister of Media & Activities at Southside Baptist Church from 1989 to 1993, and Video Producer at ACTS of Jacksonville, Inc. from 1988 to 1989. Doug holds a Master's Degree in Communications from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary (1985-1987), a Bachelor's Degree in Management from Florida State University (1982-1984), and an Associate's Degree from Tallahassee State College (1980-1982), following graduation from Amos P. Godby High School (1977-1980).

The Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions ministers in partnership with churches, associations, state convention entities and the larger Southern Baptist family by fulfilling the Great Commission through reaching and growing faithful disciples of Christ, developing Christian leaders, and mobilizing Alabama Baptists for local and global missions. The Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions sees all Alabama Baptists obeying the Great Commandment by fulfilling the Great Commission. The Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions is one of the three mission boards supported by Alabama Baptists' gifts through the Cooperative Program. We have One Mission - The Great Commission, One Program - The Cooperative Program and Many Ministries - Great Commission Ministries.
